Building Lists.....

The net is full of ads trying to get you to build lists.What is this all about? The whole point of having a website or a blog is that you need people to SEE them! Otherwise it is like having a shop in a back street.Unless it is a specialist shop or a niche market then you are not going to be able to compete with the shops in the high st.

You can purchase opt in e-mail lists from various sources and the prices vary enormously but every advertiser knows that the best form of advertising is word of mouth.On the internet, word of mouth is essentially you contacting people who already know you usually from visiting your site or responding to an ad on your site.The best way to do this is to build your own lists.You then have a relationship with your downline or network that will bear fruit in terms of your sales etc.

There are so many ways of list building and it would take forever to go thru every single one.By and large around half a dozen or so are enough to get your site the quality traffic that you need to be successful.Two great new additions to the list builders that im using at the moment are desktoplightning and search big daddy.These two new marketing tools are building lists like they are going out of fashion!

Desktoplightning is a FREE bit of downloadable software that enables you to send messages to your network or downline.You simply recruit people into your network by advertising their replicated website with your referral id on it.Once you are in you can receive messages, ads and articles and equally you can send the same.The beauty of this method is that your ads dont get deleted readily or put in the junk file like so many of your e-mail shots.In a few weeks some people have got nearly 100 in their networks!

Search big daddy is taking the net by storm at the moment .You get a FREE blogsite although this is an internal one.You get $50 of free ads.You get increased traffic to your sites as a result of internal earned credits which allow you to bid on keywords.Your ads get posted to the search engine with links to your sites.You earn the credits simply by recruiting people to bigdaddy or searching the search engine and the best one of all....writing blogs..The longer the blog the more credits you earn.You can also upgrade so you own outright keywords.Then every time someone in the blog network comes across your word your site is advertised to them.You also have the option to become a local area keyword manager which earns you hard cash!!All in all these two marketing tools are a must.I have been with both of them just on two weeks now and im well pleased with the numbers in my downlines!

Another FREE builder is trackthatad.com which also has the ability as it says in the name to keep tabs on the efectivness of your ads. Trafficwave .net is another excellent list builder with autoresponders and a tracking system too.You get replicates websites with your referal ids on. The key to building lists with these tools is to be constant in your ads and to market them based on your own experience.There is no real point in advertising something that you know doesnt work!! FREE VIRAL and 20000000 hits.com are two that spring to mind that were not too good for me.They may have worked for others but i can only quote my own experience.

There are other sites that specialize in list building, ive tried quite a few without success i must admit. But i can vouch for the Four sites i have listed here.

So to sum up...it is essential to have lists.Whether you purchase them or build your own is up to you.Obviously purchasing them gives you instant results if the lists are valid.The prices DO vary too .The advantage of your own list is that they are yours and it costs you nothing except your time.
